The Rt. Hon. Beverley McLachlin Access to Justice Fund (the McLachlin Fund) is pleased to announce that it has awarded five grants totalling $729,609 through its 2024 funding call.

The five funded projects will contribute to increased access to civil and family justice in different regions across Canada. Applications were selected based on their overall strength and fit with funding priorities. In addition, assessment of applications took into consideration the funding landscape for access to justice initiatives across Canada, prioritizing the funding of strong proposals from under-represented and under-resourced regions.

For a description of grant recipients and funded projects from the 2024 funding call, please see https://mclachlin.ca/our-work.

The McLachlin Fund is grateful for the generous support of its donors, the Vancouver Foundation for hosting the McLachlin Fund, and all the applicants and the work they do in support of access to justice.
